1051 (Dartford) Squadron is proud to announce the promotion of Cadet Warrant Officers Miteniov and Wolak, who have both achieved the highest cadet rank within the RAF Air Cadets.
Promotion to Cadet Warrant Officer is a significant milestone and is only awarded to those who have consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, commitment, maturity and dedication throughout their cadet careers. It represents years of hard work, personal development and service to both the Squadron and the wider RAF Air Cadets organisation.
From their early days as junior cadets, both Nikita and Michal have embraced every opportunity available to them, developing into outstanding leaders who have become role models for younger cadets. Whether supporting training, mentoring junior cadets or representing the Squadron at events and activities, both have consistently demonstrated the values and standards expected of senior cadets.
Reflecting on his promotion, CWO Miteniov said:
"Being promoted to CWO is honestly hard to put into words. It’s a moment that filled me with pride, relief, and gratitude all at once. Looking back at where I started, I never imagined how far I’d come, and reaching this point feels like proof that the effort, sacrifices, and challenges were all worth it. For me, this promotion means more than just a new rank—it represents growth, trust, and everything I’ve worked towards over the years. It’s a reminder of what I’m capable of and pushes me to keep striving for more. I’m especially grateful to Flight Lieutenant Archer for the support, guidance, and belief in me along the way. Having that trust and encouragement has meant a lot and has helped shape the person and leader I am becoming."
The promotion of both CWO Miteniov and CWO Wolak is richly deserved and reflects the tremendous contribution they have made to 1051 (Dartford) Squadron over many years. Their journey demonstrates what can be achieved through determination, perseverance and a willingness to lead by example.
As they take on their new appointments, both will play a key role in shaping the next generation of cadets, helping to inspire and develop those following in their footsteps.
Congratulations once again to CWO Miteniov and CWO Wolak on this outstanding achievement. Everyone at 1051 (Dartford) Squadron is incredibly proud of you, and we look forward to seeing what you accomplish next. ✈️🎉
