Cadets Lend a Helping Hand at Fleetdown United Presentation Day

Despite the rain doing its best to dampen spirits, a team of cadets and staff from 1051 (Dartford) Squadron spent the day supporting Fleetdown United's first-ever whole club Presentation Day on Saturday 6th June.

From assisting with activities and helping the event run smoothly to supporting volunteers throughout the day, our cadets demonstrated the teamwork, professionalism and positive attitude that make the RAF Air Cadets such a valued part of the local community.

We were delighted to receive some very kind feedback from Fleetdown United, who praised our cadets for their enthusiasm, maturity and willingness to volunteer their time despite the challenging weather conditions.

Community engagement is a key part of the Air Cadet experience, giving young people the opportunity to develop leadership, communication and teamwork skills while supporting local organisations and events.

A huge well done to all the cadets and staff who gave up their weekend to help make the day a success.
